First and foremost, a well kept and crystal clear pool is very inviting. No one would like to swim in a pool that is discolored and looks infested with microorganisms. Moreover, water is a breeding source for bacteria and germs. Take note, even though a pool may appear clean; it still has big chances of being contaminated which can cause skin disease conditions or even bacterial infections. With this reason, pool maintenance must be done. When not properly maintained, restoring a pool can get quite expensive, especially if it is not fixed in an earlier date.
With these conditions in a mind, Dan J. Hardy, known as the “Pool Doctor,” had created the book called The Complete Pool Manual for Homeowners and Professionals: A Step-by-Step Maintenance Guide.
Dan Hardy was born on August 16, 1953 in Texas. He started his career in pool management when he was still a young boy. This is at his father’s country club which is located in Clovis, New Mexico. From that experience, he gained information about routine maintenance, as well as water chemistry, water system mechanics and also safety.
After 10 years, Dan Hardy opened a business concerning spa set ups as well as delivery. This includes providing pool service at pre-manufactured houses located at Albuquerque, New Mexico. In 1998, he then relocated to Ocala, Florida where he opened another business called Dan's Perfect Pool Service, Pool Palace, Mount View Enterprises, and LLC. Then subsequent to this, he opened the D & C Enterprises.
Last 2006, he tied up with the renowned Rick Lorick Construction as a technical consultant and trainer for maintaining and fixing high end swimming pools. From then on, it was history. He is well known up to this date in providing service for celebrities living in Ocala.
